About this vintage design furniture

A hand-made, large glass dish designed by Jozef Hospodka for Chribska Sklarna in the mid-1970s. Crystal glass, hand-formed, colored in the mass of pink with transparent elements. A beautiful organic design with an interesting original shape, a classic of Czechoslovak organic design. Item in very good original condition, practically no signs of use. The original Czech Export sticker has been preserved on the item. Practically new bowl. dimensions: height 17 cm diameter 42 cm base diameter 10 cm

About the designer

Josef HOSPODKA

Josef Michal Hospodka was a Czech designer who was born in 1923 and died in 1989. He studied at the School of Applied Arts in Prague, where he began working as a teacher after graduating.
