Brown leather sofa V11 by Illum Wikkelso, Denmark, 1965. Manufactured by : Holger Christiansen Rare period sofa in perfect condition, patinated leather, solid rosewood legs, custom made feather cushions redone. Dimensions: 230 (L) x 82 (W) x 69 (H). Seat height: 40cm. Brilliant Danish designer of the 20th century, Illum Wikkelso first trained as a cabinetmaker before moving on to design and setting up his own studio in 1954. During his long career he designed numerous sofas, armchairs, tables, chairs, working with large furniture production companies. More confidential than his peers, he is today a highly-regarded designer whose pieces are nowadays
