Designer: Svend Skipper Manufacturer: Skippers Mobler Country: Denmark Date: 1960s Material: Leather with Beech wood frame Maximum Dimensions: Width 74cm, Depth 83cm, Height 73cm and Seat Height 43cm Condition: Excellent with only small signs of age related use, mainly in the form of patination to the tops of the arms from use, and some surface rubbing next to the seat back (see images) Description: A very elegant Danish 1960s Lounge chair, designed and manufactured by Skippers Mobler. The chair is upholstered in genuine soft Tan coloured Leather, with stitch and button detailing to all cushions, this being a real trademark of the Skippers brand. The piece has a low slung profile, a typical design trait from the Danish sixties era. The chair is also raised upon four turned and tapering Beech wood legs. Purchased in Denmark, this design classic is an original piece of Mid Century furniture.
