The sofa is upholstered in Mint Green coloured velour, with Green braiding around the seat edges and back rest, creating a nice added ribbed detail. The profile of the sofa features a subtle curve, thus giving it the Banana name. Like the majority of Danish Art Deco seating from this era, the sofa is heavily sprung underneath and is raised upon a heavy Beech wood frame. The sofa is also raised on four plain block Beech feet to each corner. Purchased in Denmark, this design classic is an original piece of Mid Century furniture.
