About this vintage design furniture
This cosy occasional chair is known as a "Fireside" chair, designed by Alf Svensson for Ljungs Industrier, in the 1950s. This model is very similar in design to his famous "TeVe" chair, but with a more angular side stretcher, which in our opinion, gives it a much more stylish stance Imported recently from Sweden, the chair has its original Ebonised beech frame, which has just been cleaned and polished. The foam has been replaced with latex pincore, making it a very comfortable, and has been reupholstered in real lamb’s wool fleece. There are a few scratches where the feet meet the floor, as expected, but otherwise in great original condition.
