About this vintage design furniture
The Luxo lamps by Norwegian designer Jac Jacobson are by far the best-known architectural spring lamps of all time. This is a rare L-2 model with blue metallic lacquer and original blue cable. 75 cm fully extended and in good condition with only minor scratches and no dents or creases. Moves, stops and stays in all directions. In 1934, Jacobsen founded Luxo ASA, the former Jac. Jacobsen A S, a Norwegian industrial group. It was originally a marketing company for textile machinery. In 1937, he developed the Luxo-L1, a lamp with an articulated arm. Today, this lamp is part of various exhibitions in museums around the world, as it is considered an example of a classic lamp.
