About this vintage design furniture
Vintage 60's Scandinavian style teak sideboard by designer John HERBERT for the high-end publisher "A Younger". Very beautiful pieces with clean lines, typical of the great modernist designers of the time. We also like its brass handles and its pretty wood grain. The cabinet consists of three drawers, one of which has a covered range lined with dark blue felt, and two compartments with hinged doors and shelves. In an excellent state of conservation, without any trace on the plateau. We have completely cleaned the furniture and oiled it so that the teak regains its original colour and shine. The English company "A Younger" manufactured very high quality furniture in small quantities for demanding customers in the fifties and sixties. Stamped with the publisher's stamp. Dimensions : W168 x H74 x D45.5 cm . Large storage capacity, good size, and very nice style. This designer furniture will fit perfectly in a modern interior. And it will give a certain charm to any room. Nowadays, an interior can be classic, modern, or atypical. A vintage piece of furniture is always adapted to give it a retro cachet. It cohabits perfectly with all types of decoration. This type of furniture brings history to the space by its patina and traces of wear and tear.
