About the designer
Alfredo BARBINI
Alfredo Barbini was a famous Italian designer and master glassmaker, born in Venice in 1912 and died in 2007. He began his career in the 1930s working for several glass companies in Murano, an island near Venice known for its production of high-quality glass. Barbini then founded his own company, Vetreria Alfredo Barbini, in 1950.
