Vintage Yumi floor lamp by shigeru ban for Fontana Arte

Yumi means bow in Japanese, an elementary form now reinterpreted by Shigeru Ban for Fontana Arte. Yumi is both strength and delicacy: a pure design meets a strong and light structure in composite material covered with carbon fibre with a glossy brushed surface. 170 LEDs are integrated in the structure of the street lamp: a light source that guarantees a minimum space requirement and enhances the continuity of the design. The cables are fully integrated into the structure, made of a special material that is resistant to high temperatures during the manufacturing process. Yumi emits a warm light concentrated downwards, ideal for creating an intimate atmosphere. It gives character to different interiors thanks to its subtle yet identifiable personality.
