About this vintage design furniture
An eye-catching set of two original “Cognac chairs” designed by Eero Aarnio, manufactured by Asko in Finland around 1960. These highly recognizable chairs are very fitting examples of mid-century modern design They are made of white fiberglass. Both chairs have a trumpet shaped base with a swivel mechanism. The seats and cushions have the original red fabric upholstery, which contrasts nicely to the white base and is very fitting for it’s modern, space-age like design. Their cushions, deep seats and tall armrests all add to the very comfortable seating experience The set will add nicely to any modern decor, adding a real touch of mid-century design. They remain in good, vintage condition with minor wear consistent with age and use, preserving a beautiful patina. Seating height: 44 cm
