About this vintage design furniture

Rare set of 12 Hans Wegner AP38 ’Airport’ lounge chairs by A.P. Stolen, Denmark. The exceptional modern chairs were designed in 1958, on tubular-steel frames with sharp triangle boomerang shape pholstred details on both sides of each seat. Seats are upholstered in black leather. Although not designed specifically for airports this chair got it’s name after Copenhagen’s "Kastrup" Airport witch still today is furnished with similar chairs. With this tubular-steel chair Wegner proved that upholstered chairs do not have to be large and overstuffed.
