About this vintage design furniture
A lovely small hanging lamp in recognizable design by Carl Thore. It is made of black lacquered metal with concave bent aluminium. When lit, it emits a nice warm light over itself as well as downwards and through the openings in the middle. It also allows light to shine up and downwards. Above the pendant there’s a cylinder shaped metal part that transitions into the cable. It’s a lovely piece that will add a nice touch of Scandinavian modernism to the interior It remaisn in very good, vintage condition.

Carl THORE
Carl THORE was a Swedish designer born in 1917 and died in 2007. He is best known for his glass lighting designs, notably for Flygsfors Glasbruk, for whom he worked from 1947 to 1959.
