Vintage armchair La Fonda by Charles & Ray Eames for Herman Miller 1970s

Charles & Ray Eames armchair, Herman Miller edition in the 70s. Herman Miller edition in the 70s. The shell is made of fiberglass in ecru color, in very good condition. Nevertheless some traces of use, as shown in the pictures, which make it all its charm. The base called "La Fonda" is a chromed cross base, made of cast aluminium with a nice patina of time. The seat is upholstered with foam, in very good condition and perfect seating comfort, and covered with an original orange woollen fabric. The fabric has no snags, the seams are in impeccable condition, however the fabric has different shades due to use and sunlight, as well as "stains", which are minimal considering its age. Overall, the shades and small stains are not very disturbing, and give all the charm of this armchair. - Overall dimensions - W 65 x D 58 x H 85 cm Seat dimensions - W 42 x D 43 x H 48 cm
