Vintage curved wooden wall coat rack, 1950-1960

Wall coat rack, vintage coat hook from the 50's and 60's in a nice size. The French coat rack is made of beautifully crafted wood with woodwork giving a superb "faux bamboo" effect with four hooks. The hooks are fantastic and very practical. The curved wood with a convex shape will fit perfectly to all coats, jackets or hats once hung. In very good original condition, with a beautiful patina of time. There are some slight signs of use. A few small wood chips on each side of the first hook on the left and one above the third hook on the left (see pictures). A small splinter also on the wood under the right hanging hole. There are two hooks at the back of the room to allow you to attach it to the wall. The hooks are strong. These types of coat racks were commonly found in French bistros in the 1950s and 1960s. All the pictures were taken inside, but there are also some pictures outside to show the difference in color depending on the brightness. Perfect for a vintage decor of an entrance, bathroom or other.
