Vintage woman sculpture in bronze in Art Deco style by Joseph Emmanuel Cormier

Art Deco female bronze signed Joseph Emmanuel Cormierdit Joé DESCOMPS (1889-1950) holding two alabaster urns. It rests on a quadrangular base in port marble decorated with a bronze plaque with a brown patina signed Joe Descomps published by Etling PARIS. (1925 edition cast iron) Emmanuel-Jules-Joseph Descomps, known as Joé Descomps or Descomps-Cormier, was a French sculptor and goldsmith, born on 18 January 1869 in Clermont-Ferrand and died on 24 April 1950 in Paris.
