Pair of Danish Tripod Floor Lamps by Svend Aage Holm Sorensenen
About this vintage design furniture
Rare set of two fully complete Danish tripod floor lamps designed by Svend Aage Holm Sørensen, circa 1955. The floor lamps feature a black enameled metal and brass mounts on three feet terminating with pointed pieces of teak. Internal shade in opal hand blown glass and outer shade in blue hand blown glass, produced by Holmegaard. Designed and produced by Holm Sørensen, Copenhagen in the 1950s. The floor lamps are in very good condition.

About the designer
Henning SORENSEN
Henning Sorensen was a Danish designer known for his elegant, modern furniture. Born in 1926, Sorensen began his career as an apprentice in a Copenhagen carpentry workshop. He went on to work for leading Danish furniture manufacturers such as Fritz Hansen and Fredericia Furniture.
