About this vintage design furniture
Another design classic from Pierre Paulin. In 1966 Paulin designed 2 similar chairs where the seating part and back seat part were separated with a frame. There is no fluent overhang between seat and back but instead they are 2 separate parts bound by a metal frame. Paulin designed a low back and high back version of the F780. The lower back goes by the nickname “duck of kwekkie” while the higher version got the official name “Concorde”. The higher version is certainly more rare. As well, this version is the zipper version due to its zippers below. The fabric is build in sleeves and therefore replacement is very easy. This piece features a black metal framefeet, fabric sleeves with zipper construction, and a Camira Urban Xtreme ys157 blue fabric. Marking present below chair. The chair is in excellent condition, both fabric and frame. The fabric is new because the chair was reupholstered again.
