Vintage scandinavian rosewood chest of drawers, 1960

Magnificent Scandinavian style chest of drawers in rosewood. This chest of drawers is a rare French work of the 1960s. It has a minimalist and elegant shape. Indeed, the cubic aspect of this chest of drawers is atypical and gives it a very particular presence. These minimalist lines highlight the materials used, in other words, the rosewood. This wood is known for its dense and contrasting grain. Veneered vertically on the front and top, the veneer is veneered horizontally on the sides. It's an interesting subtlety that adds depth to the chest of drawers. A light pad varnish was applied to give shine and relief.
