Set of 4 Scandinavian rosewood vintage chairs by SAX circa 1960

Set of four vintage dining chairs in modern Scandinavian style, made in Denmark by saxkjøbing savvaerk & stolefabrik (s.a.x). The structures are made of Brazilian rosewood and covered with black vinyl. The chairs are comfortable, solid and stable and show a very nice dovetail assembly work. They are stamped s.a.x. Made in Denmark. The seats and backrests are all in very good original condition, they have been completely cleaned (note 2 slight marks of use on the back of a chair, see photo). In perfect condition with very slight traces and marks of use on the feet and structures and patina of time. ( see photos) no tears on the black vinyl, very slight traces of use and patina of time also. These chairs have a modern, elegant and timeless design. A pair of matching armchairs also available for purchase on the site. Seat height: between 46 and 47 cm. The price is for the whole package.
