About this vintage design furniture

Rare table lamp model Giso 425 designed by W.H. Gispen for Gispen in 1931. This is the first version with pull switches. It was made from 1931 to 1939. In 1939 the pull switches were replaced by a switch in the base. This Gispen desk lamp is still in good original condition, with normal signs of use consistent with age. It has a bronze cap and base and still has the original electrical wiring. We have left the original wiring on as it is a collector's item, but we can replace the wiring upon request. Dimensions: h x d (cap) 45 x 34 cm. Source: 1931 Gispen Lamps catalog, page 72 and Gispen tubular furniture and lighting 1920-1040 book page 95.
