About this vintage design furniture
Set of 6 vintage Scandinavian style teak chairs by Ib Kofod Larsen for G-PLAN, "DANISH RANGE" range, 1963. Stamped by the publisher. Original sales date "11463" marked next to the G-PLAN logo. Very good condition, very solid. Some traces of use on the original wood and fabric, but normal for its age. Dimensions: L50 cm H75 cm P50 cm Seat height: 43cm G-Plan hired the famous Danish designer Ib Kofod Larsen in 1962 to create a range of Scandinavian furniture called "Danish Range". The furniture has been made according to Scandinavian methods, using materials of the same quality as those used by the major Danish publishers. Because of their high price at the time, these pieces of furniture are now much rarer than the other pieces of furniture of this publisher and are very popular with collectors. We find this model very elegant with its clean lines and its nice tapered base. A unique and very recognizable design.
