About this vintage design furniture

For sale this rare and fabulous large Italian postmodern style lamp "Gesto Terra", designed by Bruno Gecchelin for Skipper & Pollux in 1974. Featuring a beautiful white marble base, a long double rod in chromed tubular steel with a white metal ignition head and controlled from an in-line foot switch and very slightly dimmable from a knob housed in the marble base. The lamp is in working order, and in good original condition, with a few scratches on the paint and marks and some chips on the marble, proportional to age and use, but nothing to complain about. Please note that this lamp is very high and would therefore benefit from a generous ceiling height.
