About this vintage design furniture
For sale a stunning and extremely rare Italian Mid-Century modernist table lamp designed by Oscar Torlasco for Lumi Milano and dating from circa 1950s. This highly sought after vintage desk lamp is composed of a patinated brass stem and lamp holder, a heavy black lacquered metal base with inline switch and a lacquered shade. Oozing elegance and in good working order the lamp has gorgeous patina, commensurate with 60+ years of age & use and retains it’s original "LUMI MILANO" label to the base. Of note, the stem of the lamp is not perfectly straight as is often the case with these lamps (please see photos).
