About this vintage design furniture
For sale a stunning and highly sought-after Mid-Century Modernist "Potroclo" table lamp designed by Gae Aulenti in 1975 and produced by Artemide of Italy. This large iconic Space Age table lamp is made by blowing smoked glass inside of a metal reinforced caged structure; the result is a unique version of the lamp, where no two lamps are identical but yet share the same design and identity. The lamp is in excellent condition despite some chips to the inside of the base rim (see photos) and is in good working order. The light is controlled from an in-line dimmer switch and the lamp retains the Artemide manufacturer’s label.
