About this vintage design furniture

A minimalistic square wall lampsconce by the industrial design Pioneer Louis Christiaan Kalff. Made from powder coated folded sheets of metal. The base detaches from the front for mounting and to change the bulb. Some patina on the paint job but no damage or bends in the metal. Takes a standard E27 light bulb. The lamp has a porcelain socket to take high wattage bulbs. Louis Christiaan Kalff is a Dutch graphic artist and designer from the 20th Century. He is one of the pioneers of the industrial design. Kalff is the designer of the iconic and timeless Z table lamp manufactured by Philips in 1955. He is responsible for the success of the range of lights of the famous appliances company.
