About this vintage design furniture
Crystal grey-violet (brown smoked) glass globe. Aluminium reflector and lamp-holder. Curved chrome double rod. The base is a round chrome ring, all welded together. Bakelite socket.

About the designer
Frank LIGTELIJN
Frank Ligtelijn (1943-2017) was a Dutch industrial designer known for his work in office equipment and consumer electronics. He studied at the Royal Academy of Fine Arts in The Hague before working for Philips Design from 1967.
