Vintage Danish pendant Diskos by Jo Hammerborg, for Fog and Mørup, Denmark, 1965

Diskos is a pendant lamp with a large surface area, designed by Jo Hammerborg for Fog & Mørup in 1965. It has a beautiful, simple look, the shape resembles a UFO that makes Diskos an amazingly stunning lamp and masterpiece in its class. This is the highest level of the Jo Hammerborg’s design, awarded the iF Product Design Award in 1969. Two bulbs with a maximum power of 60 W each are used for the lamp. The lamp is in great condition, minor signs of use in the form of small scratches. The lamp has been dismantled, thoroughly cleaned, a new braided cable of about 3 meters has been installed. This is an extremely rare item, hardly available even in Denmark. Please note that the items we sell are used items, often 40-50 years old, because of this they have traces of use, which can not always be seen in the pictures.
