Very rare mid-century brass wall lamps with shape as flowers by Swedish designer Lars Holmström, Arvika - Sweden 1950s. The sconces are for wall hanging and they give a lovely shine when lit. Stamp on the back with Lars Holmström, Arvika and his hallmark. Hand-sculpted in Arvika Sweden. Measures: 27cmL x 27cmW x 15cmT. Swedish Mid-century Artsmith Lars August Holmström was born 1894 in Gävleborg County and died in Båstad. Lars Holmström participated in the Paris Exhibition and hit here with candlesticks and chandeliers and also with silver work. He is mentioned in French art magazines, where his work is referred to as masterpiece of art.
