Vintage Scandinavian wood side table by Baumann 1960s

Vintage side table, made by Baumann in the 5060s. The piece is in excellent condition and entirely original (the varnish too), it has just been cleaned to preserve its authenticity. There are traces of use on the top, the feet and the inside and bottom of the drawer.Very nice golden patina of time. There is a drawer that works with a pull-out (drawer size 28 X 21). Simple and elegant design featuring beautiful tapered legs. On the edges of the top, there is a very nice dovetail wood joinery work, which were commonly used in woodworking in the carpentry industry. The dovetail design is an important method of distinguishing different periods of furniture. It is a difficult joint to make by hand, requiring meticulous work. It is made of light wood (beech wood) and is varnished. It is strong, robust and stable. It could also be used at the bedside.
