Lounge set "Manathan" with 2 armchairs and 1 pouf by Guy Rogers 1960s

A fantastic set including a pair of recliners and a Guy Rogers "Manhattan His&Hers" footstool from the middle of the last century. The 'Manhattan' range is considered to be one of Guy Rogers' best, strongly influenced by Danish designs. The whole set was completely stripped and padded from scratch. It now complies with the fire safety regulations of the UK Department for Furniture and Furnishings. The fabric is grey in colour, made with tartan wool, extremely soft to the touch but also very resistant . The dark afromosia frames have been retouched to remove marks and restore the exquisite wood grain to its former glory. Structurally sound, these chairs are impeccable with a minimum of almost imperceptible signs of wear and tear... W 69 x D 70 x SH 42 x BH 93cm
