About the designer

Louis SOGNOT

1892 - 1970

Louis Sognot was a French designer born on January 14, 1892 and died on September 29, 1970. He studied at the École Boulle in Paris, where he learned cabinetmaking and woodcarving. After the First World War, he worked as a theater decorator and began collaborating with architects on furniture designs.
