About this vintage design furniture

This very nice and highly collectable cabinet, from the Japanese series, was designed by Cees Braakman for Pastoe in 1958. It was originally designed as a liquorbar cabinet. Now mostly used as storage cabinetdesk. The cabinet is made from teak veneer combined with a minimalistic black metal base and the iconic black integrated handles. There is a lot of storage place, shelves and the famous dust-free drawers.  This cabinet is marked and has been superficially restored and polished. It is in a very good condition with minor signs of age and use. a small restoration has been made to the white top of the desk flap door. It does not have the key for the large door, this opens and closes very well without it.
