Set of 6 vintage gargoyle walll lights in wood and brass, France

Beautiful hand carved gargoyle sconces from the early 20th century. Coming from an old estate in the south of France these unique sconces, in the shape of dragons or griffins, with markings, a rich dark brown colour, and brass sockets at the back, to be inserted into a wall bracket. All have been cleaned, rewired and work perfectly with a B22 bayonet bulb (not included.) ~ They are all in very good original condition, signs of age and use, compatible with time. ~ Patina compatible with age and time. ~ ~ The new wiring allows for a minor adjustment. Beautifully mounted on an interior wall of a living room, dining room or bedroom, through a front door or fireplace.
