Vintage Teak Sideboard with Brass Handless, Italy, 1950s

Rare Mid-Century Modern sideboard, Italy, 1950s. We have carried out a long and careful restoration on this incredible piece of design. Despite this, some pleasant signs of aging have remained, especially on the doors. A deep sanding of the old finish that was too plasticky, milky and shiny was performed. Once we returned the wood to its natural state we passed a light dye composed by us, and finally we passed a light coat of shellac to leave an appearance of very natural wood.
