About this vintage design furniture
Elegant modular teak shelf system suspended from slender black metal supports, designed by Ernst Dieter Hilker for Omnia and dating from the 1960s. The system stands without wall supports and could be used as a room divider. Very good vintage condition with minimal signs of age and use.

About the designer
Ernst Dieter HILKER
Ernst Dieter Hilker is a German designer born in 1942 in Magdeburg, East Germany. He studied at the Halle College of Art and Design, where he trained as an industrial designer. In 1969, he moved to Stuttgart, West Germany, where he worked for several renowned design agencies.
