About this vintage design furniture
Rare modernist low-sitting ’Scissor’ chair designed by architect Jan van Grunsven in 1959 and produced by UMSPastoe (famous Dutch designed furniture manufactur), Utrecht, Netherlands. Van Grunsven worked at the architect studio Gerrit Rietveld during 1950s -1960s. Laminated layers of plywood of the back of the chair and their modernist shape feet. Model name- FB 18 Belongs to the "Combex" series. In good original condition with newly upholstered seating in a green kvadrat fabric. Available 3.
