About this vintage design furniture
Designed by Finnish architect Marta Blomstedt for the lobby of the Hotel Aulanko, Hameenlinna, Finland. Several versions of the chair were produced for the hotel over the subsequent decades. This version with spherical, stained elm wood feet is one of the earliest examples. The chairs have been reupholstered in New Zealand sheepskin.
