Vintage Danish Rosewood Dining Chairs by Harry Østergaard for Randers Møbelfabrik 1960s. Set of 6. Very elegant mid-century modern chairs, with curved backrests in stunningly beautiful rosewood veneer. Thin round tapered legs in solid rosewood. Slightly curved seat resting on delicate X-shaped base. High quality materials and joinery. Very impressive craftsmanship from the golden age of Danish furniture architecture. Rosewood backrests and frame has been refinished. Seat reupholstered in quality leatherette and high density foam for optimal comfort and durability. Ready to enjoy.

About the designer
Harry OSTERGAARD
Harry Ostergaard was a Danish industrial designer born in Copenhagen in 1925 and died in 1993. He studied at the Royal Danish Academy of Fine Arts in Copenhagen and worked for several design companies, including the famous furniture company Fritz Hansen.
