About this vintage design furniture

An old Fritz Hansen chair in solid teak wood, model 1550. Made in about 1950. Green colored (unoriginal paint). Wood components has no defects, but it may show slight traces of use.

Fritz Hansen was a Danish furniture designer born in 1847 in Tønder, a small town in Denmark. He began his career as a carpenter and went on to found his own furniture manufacturing company in 1872.
