About this vintage design furniture
This teak coffee table was designed by Louis van Teeffelen for Wébé in the 1950s. It features a lower woven rattan magazine shelf and inlay by the Dutch ceramist Jaap Ravelli. It remains in good and original condition with some minimal signs of wear, consistent with age and use.

About the designer
Louis VAN TEEFFELEN
Wim Rietveld Van Teeffelen, better known as Louis van Teeffelen, was a Dutch designer who was born in 1921 and died in 1972. He studied at the Rotterdam Academy of Fine Arts and began his career as a furniture designer in the 1950s.
