About the designer
Wilhelm VON BODE
Wilhelm von Bode was a German art historian and collector, born on December 10, 1845 in Calvƶrde and died on March 1, 1929 in Berlin. He is best known for his work as director of the Berlin Museum (now the Bode Museum), where he organized several important exhibitions and acquired numerous works of art for the museum's collection.
