About this vintage design furniture
This eye-catching chair, model “Loop”, is designed by Sophie de Vocht from the Netherlands and manufactured by Casamania in Italy in 2011. The technique used for this effect is called tufting: tufts of yarn are needled into a fabric base. The backrest has a more fine structure, but the tufts get bigger and loser towards the leg ends. The chair was shown at the Milan Design Week in 2011.
