Jules Perahim (born Iuliô Blumenfeld) was a Romanian artist of Jewish origin. Despite the success he achieved under the Communist regime, he became frustrated with the lack of artistic freedom and, at some point during the 1960s, left the country to settle in Paris, where he continued to paint in a surrealist style.
