About this vintage design furniture
Small vase of the Veronese series, designed by Vittorio Zecchin for V.S.M. Cappellin, Venini & C. in 1921, made of black Murano glass, strongly iridescent. Iridescent Veronese vases are much more rare and sought after than the simple transparent ones. Furthermore black colour was very difficult to obtain in Murano glass, so black vases were produced in small series.
