About this vintage design furniture
Wall light in black and gold of the Lunel House, delinary diabolo two lights. Arms curved in gold brass and black lacquered metal. Two kneecaps, one for the head and one on the counterweight arm, and 180-degree joint for the wall arm. Shade redone from the original.

About the designer
René MATHIEU
René Mathieu was a French designer born in Nancy in 1905 and died in 1969. He studied at the École des Beaux-Arts in Nancy before moving to Paris to work as a theater decorator. He also worked for Galeries Lafayette, where he was responsible for creating window displays and exhibition stands.
