About this vintage design furniture
This is a piece from the Sensazione series, model Quasar, made of a beautiful steel square frame with an eye-catching glass core piece. The purple glass is smoothly shaped into different strokes, all together creating a circle shape that gently diffuses a warm light when lit.

About the designer
Angelo BROTTO
Angelo Brotto was an Italian designer who was born in Mirano in 1914 and died in Padua in 2002. He studied architecture at the Venice Academy of Fine Arts before turning to industrial design in the 1950s.
