About this vintage design furniture
Bentwood chair no. 210 was designed by Gebrüder Thonet around 1900. No. 210 is similar to no. 209, that has an open backrest. Chairs no. 209 and 210 were a favourite of the French designer Le Corbusier. This chair was produced in the 1960s by Ligna in Czechia, a former Thonet factory that was nationalised after World War II. Partly restored. New handwoven rattan webbing.
