About this vintage design furniture
Vintage vita scope clock in a very rare burgundy bakelite case. The Clipper Boat rocks gently on the Sea while the background Illumination changes from Sunrise to Sunset, electrically operated. H: 31.5 cm W: 27.5 cm D: 17 cm Isle of man C 1944 The first design of this clock was patented in 1941 by a Mr. J S Thatcher later amendments by Mr. J F Summersgil followed in 1944 and 1947.
