About this vintage design furniture
Tomas Bata (famous shoefabricant in Zlin) used these chairs in his shops and firms, that’s why they are known as Bata chairs in Czech Republic. The wooden parts were restored, the nickled tubular steel is in a very good condition One of the chairs shows old drill holes on the back. Iconic armchair.

About the designer
Robert SLEZAK
Robert Slezak is a German industrial designer born in Munich in 1968. He studied industrial design at Munich University of Applied Sciences, graduating in 1994.
