About this vintage design furniture
Raak globe floor lamp by Frank Ligtelijn for the Dutch Company Raak in the 1960s. A glass sphere supported by a chromium-plated steel ring. Within the sphere there is an aluminium reflector, the sphere is adjustable for up or down light. This Globe floor lamp is adjustable in height from 1.25 m – 1.75 m. In very good condition; the electric wiring has been checked by an electrician.

About the designer
Frank LIGTELIJN
Frank Ligtelijn (1943-2017) was a Dutch industrial designer known for his work in office equipment and consumer electronics. He studied at the Royal Academy of Fine Arts in The Hague before working for Philips Design from 1967.
